LAKAT Sustainables sneakers is our brand of sustainable footwear made from Philippine tropical fabrics, crafted by local artisans and using pineapple leaf fibers. It is a conscious brand dedicated to promoting the use of eco-friendly, ethically-sourced and produced local materials.

For each step guided by past adventure Movement is at the core of THE TRAVELER’S COLLECTION by LAKAT. Stephanie Claparols takes the classic LAKAT silhouette and reimagines its outsole into lapping waves that follow the natural curve of the foot. With each pair made with handwoven pineapple-cotton textile and natural rubber, she reshapes the usual soft textures towards a sleeker look. For the colorways of this collection, she and Jadon Kilayko then look to past journeys through lush fields and rocky mountain paths. Even our memories with nature can enrich our travels through urban life.
