Movement is at the core of THE TRAVELER’S COLLECTION. 

Stephanie Claparols takes the classic LAKAT silhouette and reimagines its outsole into lapping waves that follow the natural curve of the foot. With each pair made with handwoven pineapple-cotton textile and natural rubber, she reshapes the usual soft textures towards a sleeker look.

 For the colorways of this collection, she and Jadon Kilayko then look to past journeys through lush fields and rocky mountain paths. Even our memories with nature can enrich our travels through urban life.

The journey continues in the materials. The sneakers are lined with fabric woven from yarns made from a mix of pineapple blend and recycled PET bottles, giving discarded plastic a new life within each pair. The same fabric is used throughout the collection’s tote bag, creating a travel companion that carries the collection’s story of reuse from one journey to the next.
